The Body Electric
|
| The Body Electric, with a " classic rock line-up" of guitar, keyboard, bass and drums, was founded in 2014 by the Dutch jazzdrummer Hans Simons, with the intention to create new interpretations of classic Post '68 jazz-rock tunes.
The current programme consists of Miles Davis, Marcus Miller, Weather Report, Billy Cobham and Steps Ahead tunes, but also compositions of Eric Vloeimans' "Gatecrash".
Using pre-recorded intro's and sound scapes, we create a fusion of " old school tunes" with modern techniques and interpretations |
